Adara Ventures SICAR

The vehicle focuses on investments meeting all or most of the following criteria, in companies that are:

1. Developing and commercializing differentiated innovation-driven products and services, targeting large international markets. Areas of particular interest include; mobility services, image processing, enterprise software and internet-based ventures.
2. At an early stage in their development. Ideally, candidate ventures will have been in existence for the less than 5 years and have annualized revenue rates of under €5m. Candidate ventures should already have achieved commercial validation through a representative client base and be approaching an annual revenue run-rate of €1m.
3. Offering 10x growth potential over a 5 year period.
4. Be based in Spain, Portugal or have significant operations or linkages to these country markets.

Adara Ventures SICAR looks to invest up to €6m in each portfolio company, normally in a series of steps as the venture develops over a 3 to 5 year period. Furthermore, Adara will normally make investments in conjunction with other leading European VC investors.
