Red Herring Global 100
Red Herring is a leading publication in technology and innovation, and especially prizes innovation as an element in choosing members for its yearly Global 100 group. Cambridge Broadband and Ring2 made the Global 100 http://herringevents.com/global07/index.html. “We are happy to have two of our portfolio ventures included in such a distinguished group. The teams have worked very hard and made exciting progress during 2007,” said Adara partner, Nico Goulet. Fellow Adara partner, Alberto Gómez, adds “it is interesting to see that both or our ventures recognized by Red Herring, are focused on the convergence of mobility and full connectivity – this is precisely one of the drivers we’ve identified as key to our investment strategy”.
International Technology Forum
The International Technology Forum (ITF) hosts key personalities and investors from Silicon Valley, who look to come together with top entrepreneurs and their technologies in areas such as Information Technology and Communication, Biotech and Renewable Energies. The Barcelona event was organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Spain and Barcelona’s Chamber of Commerce, the first time that an ITF event was held outside the US. Polymita Technologies was honoured as one of the most innovative companies in Catalonia. Adara partner, Roberto Saint-Malo, commented, “it is a great boost to see Polymita in the top 10 in Catalonia, an emerging hot-spot for high-tech innovation in Europe.”
